One of the unlikely methods of making money on the internet that has sprung up over recent years is contributing content to huge directories of articles such as Squidoo and Hubpages. Websites such as these work by providing a platform for absolutely anyone to write and share their information and ideas, and out of the (very large) sums of money they make through various advertising methods on their websites, they give a share to their best contributors month by month.

• Write about subjects you are passionate and knowledgeable about. Nobody wants to hear your thoughts on caring for puppies if you’ve never cared for puppies yourself. Don’t try and research and recycle information, make sure you speak from the heart and from experience.
• Give as much information as you possibly can. Make sure you pass on every bit of knowledge and include everything in your Squidoo article that might just get you noticed.
• Learn a little about SEO and implement what you know. It’s tough for beginners, but there are things you can do to make your website rank more highly on google, and in doing so, you’re more likely to be rewarded by Squidoo.

You don’t need me to point out the benefits if you can make money on Squidoo. It’s verging on residual income (it will require some upkeep but not a lot) and it allows you to work anywhere in the world and get money paid straight into your paypal account. If you can get good at Squidoo, the benefits are huge.
